Marcus Mariota and the Titans agreed to a contract on July 21, 2015.  Playing his first career regular season game on September 13, 2015 in Week 1 against the 2015 first overall draft pick Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mariota threw for 209 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 42-14 victory. In that game, Mariota gained a perfect passer rating of 158.3, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to attain a perfect passer rating in his first regular season game.
